Hi, I’m Kristyn—the face behind Delightfully Booked Edits.
Before stepping into the editing and publishing world, I worked as a speech-language pathologist, where I developed a strong foundation in language, communication, and clarity—skills that naturally carried into editing.
Over the last 4.5 years, I’ve proofread and line edited almost 100 books while working closely with authors as a PA behind the scenes. My primary focus is now line editing, with additional proofreading/light copyediting services available as needed.
I am a Silver Member of The Christian PEN (Proofreaders and Editors Network) and continue to strengthen my skills through The PEN Institute. Alongside freelance editing, I currently work for Sunrise Publishing as a line editor, as well as their Innovations & New Projects Specialist—giving me experience with both the creative and technical side of publishing. I love helping authors strengthen flow, polish sentences, and create manuscripts that feel seamless while still preserving the heart and voice of the story.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and two boys, reading multiple books at a time, watching my favorite sports teams, or reorganizing my bookshelves for the hundredth time! I was blown away by @marilee.loves.to.write ‘s debut novel! But was I surprised about that?
NOT. AT. ALL.
This was truly such a fun read full of suspense, danger, romance, and sharp wit. James and Katherine made the story what it is, and I found myself drawn into all the intrigue! I can’t wait for book two!
And can we obsess a little over this wax seal?! 🤩 Tore me up just a little opening it 🤣—but I did keep it!!

There’s nothing worse than having a secret crush—unless you end up in a marriage of convenience with that man.
Bliss Jefferson has a problem.
She’s busy running her sheep ranch, working for her dad, and catching up on small-town gossip. She’s perfectly happy with her life.
That’s not the problem. Her mother is determined to marry her off and have some grandkids. Bliss is desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking, but even her home isn’t safe anymore with all of the “surprise visitors” her mom is bringing around.
Enter Zane Madden. He also has a problem. He’s all set to take over ownership of his father’s ranch. There’s just one small stipulation: he has to get married. If he doesn’t meet this requirement, his dad plans on selling the ranch.
Marriage is the last thing Zane wants. He’s been left at the altar before, and he’s not about to willingly go through that again.
But when a friend suggests that Zane ask Bliss to marry him, he realizes it’s the perfect solution.
Now he has to convince her that a marriage of convenience with him will be the answer to her problems, too.
Bliss is wary of Zane’s proposal. While it would solve both their problems, she knows it’s a disaster waiting to happen. It’s not like she can tell him that she’s had a crush on him for years. She knows that if she agrees to marry him, it will most likely end with her heart broken.
Because the thing is…she knows it’s only a matter of time before she falls madly in love with him, while he still views her as the solution to a business problem.
Now they’re just two stubborn ranchers trying to convince a town that they’re madly in love.
The new problem? Faking it is starting to make the feelings seem a little too real.
